Restoring Hope by Restoring Water

Having access to fresh water is a challenge for many people in third world countries. In the past year, Mike Manclark and the MANGIC Foundation funded water tank/well projects in El Salvador and Uganda, providing over a thousand people with clean, healthy and sustainable water without the need for filtration. The projects were seen as vital to the health of these communities, virtually eliminating disease caused by waterborne illness practically overnight.

Before the wells were built, small children walked up to three miles a day to get dirty, parasite-infected water that they brought home for drinking and bathing.
