Semper Fi Fund
Supporting our Injured Marines
Mike Manclark became actively involved with the Semper Fi Fund approximately (10) ten years ago. He oversaw and headed dozens of events and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, which went directly to into the hands of severely injured marines.
In addition to the large fund raising events that Manclark personally sponsored and held, he also engaged over 100 children to contribute all proceeds earned from lemonade and bake sales. This gave the children an opportunity to realize the importance of giving back to our brave soldiers as well as giving those who served and sacrificed an understanding that even children care.
The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities. Since its establishment in 2004, they’ve issued more than 97,500 grants, totaling more than $113 million in assistance to over 14,400 of our heroes and their families.
